Don't hate me, but...

Obviously I haven't posted since... err.. the last post. That was a while ago. Rest assured, bloggy, I've keep in touch with those who matter and I've documented my adventures elsewhere. Not to undermine you, of course. Well, maybe a little.

Week two comes to a close. I've seen some pretty awesome things but there is still so much traveling to do. Most exploring has been confined to the greater Brussels downtown-- went to an awesome fine arts museum which merits many more returns, went to a few breathtaking cathedrals, but other than that it's been a lot of getting my bearings by going to as many bars as possible and seeing if I remember how to get home. Totally kidding.

But as a matter of fact, there are a bunch of very very fun bars, cafes, small dives, classy restaurants, and culture five minutes walk from my front gate. And I mean front gate. It's an intense structure...

Drinking is absolutely a different element here. IE: At MSU, where they post up anti-drinking posters like it's school spirit propoganda, here, the SGA sponsors drinking contests. Like last night. That was fun. But Priya and I had to leave early to catch the last metro home, which, of course, after speed walking across campus with a beer (yes, that's legal... what a country), we missed anyway. But I guess it's okay-- the reason we had to leave early is because we had to wake up early because today we're going to Antwerp!

Most likely visiting museums and whatnot down there/over there/up there so I'll post more on that most likely tomorrow. In addition, if you're still reading with me, that is, check back to this post tomorrow because I'll insert some illustrative photos to go along with the story.

For now, gotta dash. Hope all of you are well!
